The Apollo Rocket returns to Action Track Dominance
Defending Champs Jared Miley & Corey McPherson dominate

Sarver, PA (May 17, 2013) Indelibly etched in the Lernervile Speedway record books as their respective divisions’ All Time wins leaders, future Hall of Famers Brian Swartzlander and Ed Lynch Jr. returned to familiar territory Friday Night by scoring their first feature wins of 2013.  Jared Miley also scored his first feature win of 2013 in defense of his 2012 Precise Late Model Track Championship and fellow Defending Track Champion Corey McPherson won his second Pic-A-Part Sportsman feature of the season.    90 cars were on hand for round three of Fab Four Racing with near perfect weather conditions.

Fab Four Quick Results 5.17 - Swartzlander, Lynch, Miley & McPherson win

Brian Swartzlander and Ed Lynch Jr. add to Hall of Fame resumes
Defending Champs Jared Miley and Corey McPherson victorious
King family goes three for three in heat race victories

Sarver, PA (May 17, 2013) On a perfect, summerlike night, All Time division wins leaders Brian Swartzlander (Diehl Mods) and Ed Lynch Jr. (Peoples TWP Sprints) added to their Hall of Fame resumes with career feature wins #78 and #106 respectively.  And while it’s early to start talking about Hall of Fame credentials for Jared Miley (Precise Lates) and Corey McPherson (Pic-A-Part Sportsman), both Defending Track Champions scored dominant feature wins tonight.  The “Kings of Racing” Rex King Sr., Rex King Jr. and Russell King all scored heat race wins tonight; a feat which had most likely never been accomplished!  Surely there were nights when both Bob Wearing Sr. & Jr. won heats or Lou & Dale Blaney, but nobody in the press box could a recall a father and two son heat race win sweep!

Davey Johnson and Corey McPherson dominate bookend features
Mat Williamson and Cap Henry seal the deal in the closing laps to win
Breast Cancer Awareness Night donations total $1162!

Sarver, PA (May 3, 2013) Friday Night’s features were ones of utter dominance or thrilling late race passes for the lead.  Davey Johnson, easily a generation older than everyone in his proverbial rearview mirror, was absolutely dominant leading every lap of the Precise Late Model feature.  Both Jim Weller Jr. in the Diehl Mods and Danny Holtgraver in the Peoples TWP Sprints looked to replicate Johnson’s feat, only to see victory slip away in the closing laps to Mat Williamson and Cap Henry respectively.  Defending Pic-A-Part Sportsman Track Champion Corey McPherson bookended the night with another dominant performance to score his first win of 2013.  But the biggest winners Friday Night were the generous fans who donated $1162 to Komen for the Cure; our biggest total to date!  Thank you very sincerely to everyone that generously donated their hard-earned money to this noble cause!

Davey Johnson goes wire-to-wire to win Precise Late Model feature
Mat Williamson and Cap Henry steal Diehl Mod and Peoples TWP Sprint features
Defending Track Champion Corey McPherson dominates Sportsman feature

Sarver, PA (May 3, 2013) Almost 100 cars packed the pits again Friday Night on Ladies Night and Breast Cancer Awareness Night.  The “Finest Race Fans in the World” donated $1162 to Komen for the Cure!  “The Juice” Davey Johnson and Defending Track Champion Corey McPherson bookended the night by scoring wire-to-wire feature wins in the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models and Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar Sportsman features respectively.  In between, Opening Night feature winner Mat Williamson passed Jim Weller Jr. late in the race to score the win in the Diehl Auto Group DIRTcar Northeast Modifieds and Cap Henry passed Danny Holtgraver on the last lap to win the Peoples TWP Sprint feature.  Henry and Holtrgaver will return next Friday to resume their battle as the All Star Circuit of Champions Sprints make their annual pilgrimage to the Action Track along with the Lernerville debut of the RUSH Dirt Late Models and our Pic-A-Part Sportsman.

Opening Night 2013 Race Report 4.26

It was the best of times; it was the worst of times . . .
Sodeman, Hess, Williamson and Egley score Opening Night wins
Bowser, Ellenberger, Pegher, Swartzlander and Fosnaught struggle

Sarver, PA (April 26, 2013) Opening Night 2013 was a mixed bag of results as four drivers celebrated the new campaign in Sheetz Victory Lane, while others left in anger and frustration! For Jack Sodeman Jr. in the Peoples TWP Sprints, Dave Hess Jr. in the Precise Late Models, Mat Williamson in the Diehl Mods and Bob Egley in the Pic-A-Part Sportsman, Opening Night wins were the perfect way to kick start a run at the Budweiser Track Championships.  For guys like Carl Bowser and Mike Pegher, (whose engines failed them before they logged a single lap in competition), or guys like Brian Ellenberger, Brian Swartzlander or Jim Fosnaught, (who watched helplessly as the opportunity to stand in Sheetz Victory Lane was yanked out from under them), Opening Night ended far differently than their hopes and intentions.

Jack Sodeman Jr. starts 2013 with a wing dance in Sheetz Victory Lane

2010/2011 Champ Dave Hess Jr. holds off 2012 Champ Miley

Swartzlander light at scales, Mat Williamson picks up the win

Bob Egley endures a wild finish in the Sportsman

Sarver, PA (April 26, 2013) The 2013 Fab Four Racing season started off with a bang, as Jack Sodeman Jr. won a wild Peoples TWP DIRTcar Sprint feature after early leader Brian Ellenberger broke at the flagstand on lap 14 and restart leader Eric “Turkey” Williams jumped the cushion in turns one & two.  Dave Hess Jr. appears to be back to 100% after back surgery delayed his 2012 season.  Hess scored the win over a hard charging Jared Miley and Ron Davies who raced to a third place finish from the B-Main!  Brian Swartzlander and Canadian young gun Mat Williamson traded the lead multiple times under green flag conditions on the track and then one final time AFTER the races, as Swartzlander came up light at the scales after taking the checkers for a 78th time; giving the win to Williamson.  Jim Fosnaught got collected by a lapped car in turn two on the final lap and then Mike Miller got a little bit slideways exiting turn four coming to the white flag on the ensuing restart.  Defending Track Champion Corey McPherson had nowhere to go and got into Miller, spinning him out.  Bob Egley inherited the lead for a second Green-White-Checkered restart, but had to hold off a roughshod Paul Schreckengost and a rim riding Corey McPherson to score the Opening Night win in Pic-A-Part Sportsman.

Blaney Survives Weather, Attrition to Claim Commonwealth Clash

SARVER, Pa. - Sept. 22, 2012 - Patience was key on a late, chilly and wet Saturday night at Lernerville Speedway.

Following a lengthy delay to the Commonwealth Clash, in which the program had to restart after weather postponed the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series event during qualifying, a patient Dale Blaney was credited with his first Outlaws victory of the season as attrition took its toll on the frontrunners.
