Josh Richards Rockets to Firecracker Friday Preliminary win
Davenport charges late to second place finish ahead of Overton

Sarver, PA (June 24, 2016)Â Josh Richards used a late race restart to pass leader Brandon Overton and then pulled away from the field as Jonathan Davenport jumped up on the cushion at both ends of The Action Track to a strong second place finish.Â Brandon Overton held on to stand on the podium after a solid run that included leading for a good portion of the race after a spirited battle with early leader Russ King.Â Russ King and Jared Miley represented the Precise Late Models well with fifth and sixth place finishes respectively.

Racing resumes tomorrow afternoon at 1:00 after hot laps and qualifying which starts at noon.
