Annual Test and Tune Goes Under The Lights in 2017

The annual Test and Tune for the upcoming season at Don Martin's Lernerville Speedway will go under the lights in 2017 as the first taste of racing is slated to take place on Tuesday, April 18 from 6 to 9 PM.  The preseason shakedown will be free for the general public and will offer the first chance for fans to check out some off season improvements to the facility such as some newly restored bleachers,  a gravel walkway added to the area in front of the main grandstand and more!

The pit side concession stand will also be open to fans as well so fans can come directly from work to check out the action on the track and take in the fare without having to make the extra dinner stop.  Starting at 6 PM a series of rotating hot laps, staged by division, will be taking place, featuring virtually every type of car that will be racing at Lernerville in 2017 during the season, including the Fab Four Presented by Turner's Premium Tea.  Fans will be treated to a first look at the new color and wrap schemes from their favorite drivers and will also get to check out a few new drivers who will be calling the action track home in 2017.

The night is also an opportunity for drivers to work out the kinks, or to work in new equipment for the upcoming season.  Drivers of different cars from all over the area are encouraged to attend! Normal pit pass fees will apply ($20 DIRTcar Members/$30 Non Members).  Drivers are also reminded that this is the perfect opportunity to make Opening Night (April, 21) much less stressful by having the ability to have their car inspected for the upcoming season.  Officials will be on hand to give technical inspection for any driver starting at 5:30 PM and will be working until 9 PM that night.

Drivers are also reminded that starting on opening night, all competing drivers must be a DIRTCar members in good standing. To get your DIRTCar Membership or to make life much easier by pre-registering for the 2017 season!

Come get your first look at the 50th Anniversary Season of racing at Lernerville Speedway Tuesday, April 18th! We look forward to seeing you there.
