Sarver, PA (July 6, 2018) Chamber of commerce weather surrounded The Action Track on Friday night as the Fab4 returned to the speedway following a two week hiatus. And when the final checkered flag waved, fans were treated to another dominating performance from Michael Norris, a hard fought and well deserved victory from Jeremiah Shingledecker, a second feature victory on the season for Cale Conley and another battle for the ages between Tyler Dietz and Corey McPherson.

In the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds, Shingledecker was a man on a mission and moved forward with authority until he caught up  leader Garrett Krummert who looked at one point to be solidly in command. Krummert became stuck with the task of trying to find a way around the lapped car of Colton Walters late in the race and Shingledecker found the opportune moment to make his way round him as he took the lead and survived several late race restarts to secure his first victory at Lernerville since August of 2017.

Cale Conley made his third appearance in 2018 and came away with his second victory of the season as he won the battle at the front of the field with Jared Zimbardi while managing to stay ahead of a hard charging Dan Shetler in Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprint action on Friday night. AJ Flick rounded out the podium while increasing his points lead when all was said and done.  In the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models, Michael Norris once again put on a clinic, driving a flawless 25 laps and coming from 10th on the grid to cruise to another feature victory.

Tyler Dietz and Corey McPherson were worth the price of admission alone in the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stock main event. Dietz took early command of the race and looked to be on his way to an easy victory as McPherson uncharacteristically spun and brought out the caution with four laps down. And when racing resumed, McPherson drove as if he'd been shout out of a cannon, impressively driving through the field with ease as he found himself on Dietz's bumper with plenty of time left to make a move. McPherson was able to wrest the lead away from Dietz in different areas of the speedway, but Dietz was able to use his momentum to his advantage and managed to close out the victory by a very slight margin at the finish line.
