Sarver, PA (August 8, 2019) And then there were three.  Only three chances left to leave it all on the line and make a run to the titles in the 2019 Lernerville season following last Friday's rain canceled event. The Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprints, Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models, Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Big Block Modifieds and Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks will all be in action on Friday night. And when they hit the track, every lap will matter as points battles will intense in both heat races and main events.

The veteran wheel man has found the podium five times this season including a feature win on May 31. Behind him, Jared Miley finds himself 28 points back which is not insurmountable whatsoever. Schaltenbrand will have to keep up the pressure with more strong performances to keep Miley behind him if he hopes to collect his first career track championship. Behind them, the trio of Kelvin Kohan, Mike Miller and Tyler Dietz find themselves separated by three points as they make a run at the third spot overall.

And just behind them, Garrett Krummert is easily within striking distance. Swartzlander currently has a 13 point advantage over Rex King Jr. and 15 points over the elder statesman while Krummert finds himself 22 points behind the leader.  If Swartzlander can hold on, it would be his 8th track title in the Modifieds over his Hall of Fame career.
