Action Track Preview- Division Battles Continue as Fab4 Season Finale Draws Closer

Sarver, PA (August 15, 2019) Every point matters as it's playoff time at the front of the standings as the Fab4 Revved up with Marburger Farm Dairy closes in on Championship Night next Friday night. But this Friday, the key for drivers will be to either put more distance between the drivers behind them, or to make up as much ground as possible with two weeks remaining in the season.

Friday night, the racing action is brought to you by  Diehl Automotive Group and also, there will be Go Karts to view behind the grandstands as we roll out our annual Go Kart Night presented by Du-Co Ceramics. Fans will have a chance to check out a wide assortment of Karts that race at our area karting facilities.

In the Peoples Gas DIRTcar Sprints, there is a new leader as Jack Sodeman Jr, by virtue of his win last Friday night combined with mechanical difficulties for then leader AJ Flick resulted in Sodeman entering Friday night with a 13 point lead. Moving to the second spot was Carl Bowser with Flick now 21 points behind Sodeman in third.

Ken Schaltenbrand has a seemingly insurmountable 54 point lead in the Precise Racing Products DIRTcar Late Models which means he could wrap up his first career Lernerville championship this Friday night. However, behind Schaltenbrand, the standings are extremely tight and the battle for the runner spot involving Jared Miley, Kelvin Kohan, Tyler Dietz, and Mike Miller involves a mere seven point difference among them.

The battle for supremacy in the Diehl Automotive DIRTcar Modifieds tightened back up once again as Rex King Jr. found victory lane and shaved seven points from the lead currently held by seven time track champion Brian Swartzlander. King Jr. lies just six points behind Swartzlander coming into action this week while Rex King Sr. and Dave Murdick are still in contention, but will need lady luck to shine on them in each of the final two race nights to make up ground.

In the Millerstown Pic-A-Part DIRTcar/RUSH Pro Stocks, Corey McPherson and Tyler Dietz have just two markers between them as they continue their season long battle which has featured clean, hard racing every week. Joey Zambotti, and Ryan Moyer are both in contention but the eyes will be on the front runners who may very well take the battle into the last set of turns next Friday night to determine a champion.

The Lernerville Kids Club will in action and will be hosting a school supply drive! Fans are encouraged to bring whatever school supplies they can and there will be donation boxes set up at all gate locations. Following that, the children will be partaking in a sand art project and will then lead the audience in reciting our pledge of allegiance. Kids Club meets every Fab4 Friday night under the turn four grandstands and is free for all children.

Pits will open at 4 pm with grandstands opening at 5 pm and racing starting at 7:30 pm. Adult general admission is $15, $12 for seniors, and $10 for students ages 11-17.
