Test & Tunes and Fab4 Opening Night Canceled
Sarver, PA (April 2, 2020) With respect to Governor Wolfs recent extension of social distancing efforts and stay home directives through April 30, and erring on the side of caution in terms of the health and safety of our employees, drivers, crews and fans, the Tomson Family will abide by these COVID-19 provisions and unfortunately cancel all April events on the 2020 schedule. This cancellation includes Test & Tune sessions scheduled for April 10th and 17th, as well as Opening Night of Fab4 Racing Revved Up with Marburgers Farm Dairy which was scheduled for Friday, April 24.
Future events will remain on the schedule at this time, but subject to change pending further guidance from the commonwealth and national leadership. That said, rest assured you finest race fans in the world, that just as soon as our Governor drops the green flag, we will be dropping the green flag as well.
With the weekly Pad the Purse program presented by Phil DiLucente & Associates, the Hovis Auto & Truck Supply Loyalty Incentive, a 10% increase in weekly purse courtesy of the Tomson family and Tomson Scrap Metal, as well as rules changes, the 2020 season promises to be one of the best in the more than 50 year history of Don Martins Lernerville Speedway.
During these unprecedented and challenging times, it is more important than ever to support the small and local businesses that support local racing, but please do so in a safe and responsible way. We are all in this together and we all want to get back to racing and back to œnormal? as soon as possible, but right now the best way to make that happen is to follow the guidelines that have been set forth.
