Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXX Next On Docket At Lernerville Speedway!

Sarver, PA (July 19, 2021) On Tuesday, July 20, the ˜Month of Money for the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series continues as the series returns to Lernerville Speedway for the $25,000-to-win Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXX!

As the Outlaws visit Lernerville Speedway for the first time in 2021, Grass Valley, Californias Brad Sweet leads the point standings with Carson Macedo of Lemoore, CA, following in second. Two-time Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup champion David Gravel of Watertown, CT is third while the seven-time and defending Silver Cup champion Donny Schatz of Fargo, ND sits fourth. Wooster, Ohios Sheldon Haudenschild rounds out the top-five.

The World of Outlaws are coming off the richest weekend in the history of winged sprint car competition as they completed both 37th and 38th Annual Kings Royal at Eldora Speedway. Both events featured a whopping $175,000 first place prize. Inclement weather plagued the two events, but track and series officials were able to get both events in on the same day as Tyler Courtney of Indianapolis, IN claimed the top prize in the matinee while NASCAR superstar and dirt phenom Kyle Larson of Elk Grove, CA cashed in during the night cap.

Also expected to join the Outlaws are Lernerville Speedways weekly stars including point leader Sye Lynch of Apollo, PA. Lynch, son of the 2002 Silver Cup champion, Ed Lynch Jr. who has a guaranteed starting position for the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup as he claimed the Mid-Season Championship feature event on June 18. A.J. Flick, also of Apollo, PA and Brandon Matus of Wampum, PA are second and third in the Peoples Natural Gas DIRTcar Sprints point standings and are also looking to take on the Outlaws and add a prestigious Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup win to their resumes. All the Outlaws will be gunning for the $25,000 winners check as well as a plethora of other local and regional stars.

Pit gates for the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup XXX will open at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday with grandstand gates opening at 5:00 p.m. Hot laps are slated to begin at 6:30 while Opening Ceremonies will be at 7:20 p.m. and racing to begin at 7:30 p.m.
