Lernerville Speedway Welcomes the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series and its presenting sponsor Big River Steel to the 2022 $50,000 to win Firecracker 1

Sarver, PA (September 13, 2021) During the 2022 Big River Steel Firecracker 100, Lernerville Speedway will host, for the first time ever, the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.  Also, for the first time, Big River Steel will provide $20,000 on top of the $30,000 winners purse, to boost the Saturday feature race to $50,000-to-win.

Lernerville Speedways œFirecracker 100 Weekend? has become one of the most high-profile events in the world of dirt track Late Model racing.  When the 16th running of the event occurs on June 23rd, 24th, and 25th of 2022, a record high event purse will be offered the competitors, thanks to the new partnership with Big River Steel and the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series. 

Already a prestigious, high dollar, three-day racing tradition, the Firecracker 100 Weekend, in 2022, will become the richest event of any kind, ever held at the Lernerville Speedway.  Big River Steels addition of $20,000 to the winners paycheck will draw even more of the sports top names to Sarver, PA for the crown-jewel event.  A full program of racing is scheduled each of the three nights. 

Camping spaces for the 2022 Big River Steel Firecracker 100 are on sale now and advance tickets will go on sale before the end of the year. 

In action this Friday, September 17 is ˜Championship Night presented by Alumisource for the Fab4 Revved Up with Marburger Farm Dairy. Our own Peoples Natural Gas Sprints, Precise Racing Products Late Models, Diehl Automotive Big Block Modifieds, and the MIllertown Pic-A-Part Penn/Ohio Pro Stocks will have their 2021 Champions crowned as the regular season comes to an end.
