Commonwealth Clash Fast Approaches; An Earnhardt Among Us; Tight Points Battle atop High Limit Standings
Sarver, PA (September 19, 2023) The richest Sprint Car race in Lernerville Speedway history is now less than a week away as the $50,000-to-win Commonwealth Clash featuring the High Limit Sprint Car Series prepares to make history at The Action Track on Tuesday, September 26. The world's finest Sprint Car drivers will be in action, set to dazzle and delight the fans on hand in what will be a thrilling showdown to be sure.
And, making the first appearance at a Sprint Car race in his life, will be former NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr.! The 26 time NASCAR race winner told his audience recently that he would be in attendance at the Sarver speedplant via podcast and is looking forward to the night ahead!

"I've really never experienced a Winged Sprint Car race," Earnhardt said via his Dale Jr Download on August 24. "I've not been to too many dirt races in my time, so we're going to go have some fun, eat some track food, meet some fans, maybe sign some autographs or anything else Kyle (Larson) wants me to do. But we're just going to celebrate his series and learn what we can."
There's a tight points battle atop the High Limit standings as Kyle Larson brings a 23 point cushion into the night over Rico Abreu. Larson currently owns a series-high three wins in eight starts this season while Abreu has had the hotter hand of late, winning two of the last three tour stops. Larson was the winner earlier this season at the Don Martin Memorial Silver Cup featuring the Tezos All Star Circuit of Champions Sprint Cars which took place on July 18.

Tickets are available online at Lernerville.com with reserved seating priced at $50. Reserved seats are those found in the top half of the seating area marked with red painted bleachers and numerals. Simply pick out your own seat on our seating map and enjoy the night from where you like. General admission seating is available for $40 and infield seating is now available for $40. Come bring your lawn chair and enjoy the historic night as close to the action as possible from track level! Tickets will also be available at the gates on race night; however, all tickets purchased in advance will receive a free pit pass upgrade at the track at one of our upgrade areas located near the entrance gate.
Pit gates will open at 2 PM on Tuesday, September 26 with grandstands opening at 4 PM. Hot laps followed by Capitol Renegade Qualifying will commence at 6:15 PM with opening ceremonies scheduled for 7:15 PM. Tickets are selling fast, so make your plans to join us as soon as possible!
